To address this gap, UltraTech partnered with Simulanis to develop a VR-based Tile Application Simulator—an immersive, first-of-its-kind training module that digitizes the TileFixo application process.
Built for the Oculus Quest 2, the simulator offers a highly realistic, hands-on experience by allowing users to train with real tools—such as notch trowels and mixers—enhancing skill transfer and on-site readiness. From surface preparation and adhesive mixing to tile placement, leveling, and finishing, trainees are guided through tutorial and assessment modes for effective, experiential learning.
